Microsoft ODBC driver can't find Oracle Instant Client. Software program that connects to an Oracle. Of the Oracle Version 7.3 (or greater) client.

Sorry if this is being posted on the wrong part of the forum, but I couldn't find anywhere suitable. We have a live system running Oracle 7.3.4. I need to reload the system onto a new server, but I don't have the original Oracle 7.3.4 cd's. (Oracle was installed by a 3rd party, and they never gave us the media!).

Hi Dave, I am an IT consulant in Los Angeles. I have a new client that is moving off of an accounting program that runs on Oracle. The current IT has never upgraded them and really, the system was static and didn't need to be upgraded. The problem is that now they want to go to a new accounting software and I need to extract their data. I did not want to do it on their live system so I was going to restore a backup onto one of my servers and do ODBC to extract the necessary data. Thus, I would need Oracle 7.3.4 to restore to.
